Hi, and welcome to the Spatial Play, Learning, and Teaching lab – also known as the SPLAT lab. The SPLAT lab is part of the STEM Education Research Centre here at the University of Canberra. The SPLAT lab, under the direction of Ilyse Resnick, has been purposefully designed for young children to engage and play in STEM and spatial thinking. Through brief and fun activities, we can explore how children learn and think about STEM.
